When you create an account on Jolene’s Recipes, we collect your email address and display name. We also store the information necessary to authenticate your account and allow you to sign in securely.
When you Like a recipe, we record that Like so it can be reflected in the recipe’s total Like count.
We do not allow general users to submit recipes, upload images, or add or edit recipe content. Recipe content is managed exclusively by Jolene.
We use the information we collect to:
We do not sell or rent users' personal information, including their email addresses, to third parties. We share information with service providers only as necessary to operate and maintain the website and provide its features.
We do not use personal information for analytics, behavioral tracking, or profiling.
All recipes, recipe images, ingredients, and other recipe content on Jolene’s Recipes are managed exclusively by Jolene. Other users cannot add, edit, or delete recipes, upload content, or otherwise modify shared recipe information.
Registered users may Like recipes. These Likes contribute to each recipe’s total Like count.
If a user deletes their account, their previous Likes remain included in the total Like counts for those recipes. Deleting an account does not remove those Likes from the recipe totals.
Users may delete their accounts through the account settings page. When an account is deleted, the user's account information is removed from the application's active user records.
Previously recorded recipe Likes are retained and continue to contribute to the total Like counts for those recipes, even after the associated account has been deleted.
If you have questions about account deletion or your personal information, please contact us using the contact information provided in this policy.
Jolene’s Recipes uses session cookies to maintain your sign-in session as you navigate the site. These cookies help the site recognize that you are logged in and provide access to features available to your account.
We do not use cookies for analytics, behavioral tracking, or advertising tracking.

Personal information is retained for as long as necessary to operate the website, maintain user accounts, and provide its features. When an account is deleted, its account information is removed from the application's active user records, while previously recorded recipe Likes remain included in recipe Like totals.
User passwords are stored as securely hashed values rather than as plain-text passwords. We take reasonable measures to protect account information and other data stored by the application.
Information may continue to exist in backups or records maintained by third-party service providers according to their retention practices.
