Ingredients:

  • 1 pound ground beef
  • 1/2 cup onion, diced
  • 1 tablespoon yellow mustard
  • 12 ounce can of Campbell's® chicken gumbo soup

Seasonings:

  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • seasoned salt to taste
  • Famous Dave's® Steak & Burger seasoning
  • Lawry’s® Garlic Salt

Instructions:

  1. Cook ground beef on medium-high heat until halfway browned.
  2. Season meat with Famous Dave's® Steak & Burger seasoning. Add onion and continue cooking until the onion is soft and the beef thoroughly browned.
  3. Drain off fat. Add soup, mustard, pepper, and seasoned salt. Stir to combine. Turn heat to medium-low until serving.
  4. Combine room temperature butter and garlic salt (to taste) in a small dish. Lightly butter the buns. Toast in the oven until light brown.
  5. Serve gumbo mixture on toasted buns.

Notes from Jolene:

Before toasting the buns, sprinkle the garlic buttered tops with grated parmesan cheese. Pairs well with tater or veggie tots and fresh cut fruit!
